At a Dartmouth panel discussion on mental health, they had their own family stories to tell.
Members of the Dartmouth Student Alliance for Ukraine on Friday displayed urgent, anguished text messages sent to and from Ukrainian students at Dartmouth and their loved ones on the first days of the Russian invasion last February.
The exhibit on Baker Lawn captures the fear and uncertainty Ukraine and its citizens have felt for the past year.
As Zhenia Dubrova ’24, one of the organizers, says, the students are trying to raise awareness about their country’s plight.
“We just want you to care,” she says.
