A new company on Oct. 31 will begin operating the Summit on Juniper student apartment complex on Mount Support Road in Lebanon, N.H.

An affiliate of The Scion Group has acquired Summit from an affiliate of Michaels Student Living, which built and has operated the apartments since they opened in 2022.

Summit has four buildings and a total of 638 beds and offers housing to Dartmouth graduate and professional school students, along with other residents, including undergraduates.

Under the terms of the sale, Dartmouth continues to retain ownership of the land, leasing it to Scion, whose representatives will manage the complex.

Undergraduates who live at Summit will see no change in their apartments. Graduate and professional school students will maintain their housing agreements directly with Summit and will receive letters on Oct. 31 noting this transaction and providing updates about rent payment.

Scion representatives managing Summit are scheduled to be on site Nov. 1 to answer any questions residents may have. Residents can also reach Scion managers at 802-278-9885 or live@summit-juniper.com.

Scion, whose headquarters is in Chicago, is the owner-operator of nearly 92,000 beds across 82 campuses. In New England, the company owns and operates communities at the University of New Hampshire, the University of Maine at Orono, and Brown University.
