Sahana Kumar ’27 is interested in a career in veterinary medicine, but also has a passion and talent for art.

She finds inspiration in the Department of Biological Sciences’ collection of animal bones and skeletons, turning out eye-catching drawings from the bear skulls, lioness skeletons, and other specimens in the lab.

Art and science, she says, are “very interconnected in ways that people may not realize.”
