Commencement exercises will be held rain or shine. Please bring raincoats and umbrellas if appropriate. Umbrellas are only permitted when there is heavy rain.

SEVERE WEATHER PLAN

A severe weather plan has been created to accommodate holding a commencement ceremony indoors if the forecasted weather makes holding an outdoor ceremony too dangerous. The ceremony will be held outdoors if it is merely raining, but in the highly unlikely case of lightning, hail, or dangerously high winds, a severe weather plan will be implemented. The safety of our graduates, families, and guests is our priority.

Any determination to implement the severe weather plan will be emailed to all graduating students on Saturday afternoon. If the severe weather plan is implemented, the commencement ceremony will be held in Leede Arena. Because it is a smaller venue than the Green, admission will be granted only to degree candidates, and marching faculty. Family and guests will view the ceremony remotely via the video stream.
