Students celebrate commencement at Dartmouth

Accommodations for guests with disabilities are available for major Commencement events, however we ask that you contact us in advance to make arrangements.

General seating sections are accessible for guests with mobility impairments, not using a wheelchair. Guests using wheelchairs should fill out a request for the accessible seating section. All guests requiring mobility aids should plan to travel with their own, as rental options are not available in the Hanover area. In order to best assure arrangements we ask that you contact us by May 17.

See the seating chart (PDF).

Please note: registration is required for the accessible seating section. Additionally, due to limited space, only one guest may escort each individual sitting in the accessible seating section. Both the guest and the escort must be registered to be admitted into the section.

For guests who have a hearing impairment, captioning is provided on a large screen at Sunday’s Commencement ceremony. Assisted Listening Devices are available for checkout from the Accessibly Seating Section.

For further information, please email commencement@Dartmouth.edu or call (603) 646-8923.

Accessibility information for graduating students is available.
