Rauner Special Collections Library's Spring 2024 Exhibit, "More than a Monster: Medusa Misunderstood," explores depictions of Medusa and highlights her underrepresented mythological history. The exhibition incorporates works from the collections of both Rauner and the Hood Museum. An opening event will introduce people to the exhibition and allow people to look at the art from the Hood featured in the exhibition in person. The event is on Thursday, April 11th, from 6-8 pm, beginning at the Hood Museum and then moving to Rauner Library. It is free and open to the public; light food and refreshments will be provided.
