The Hood Museum and the Hopkins Center are teaming up to explore issues of labor with a spotlight talk and film screening.
Division of Labor and Maintenance Artist: An Arts District Presentation
The Hood Museum and the Hopkins Center are teaming up to explore issues of labor beginning with a focused gallery talk in the museum’s exhibition Division of Labor, followed by a film screening of Maintenance Artist in the Visual Arts Center.
Exhibition co-curators Alisa Swindell and Amelia Kahl will give a brief tour of Division of Labor and introduce a screening of Maintenance Artist. Works on view in the exhibition highlight alternative forms of labor, such as domestic work and the arts, alongside larger social and political forces.
The spotlight talk is free and open to all, but space is limited. Click here to register for the spotlight talk.
