Project-based learning (PBL) is a proven methodology for improving student learning outcomes, academic achievement, critical thinking, and affective abilities (Zhang & Ma, 2023). In this half-day, hands-on PBL workshop, participants will dive into methodology, consider examples from a range of disciplines, and develop concrete plans for how PBL could support deep learning in their courses. Registrants will share information about their experiences, goals, and needs as they pertain to students projects, and facilitators will use this information to design the workshop.
Following the workshop, participants are invited to stay for a resource lunch with various Dartmouth community partners across campus.
