Submission Deadline: 11:59 pm on Monday, March 30, 2026

All undergraduate students are invited to submit their original screenplays for consideration for the Laing Memorial Screenwriting Award. Winners in each category will receive cash prizes. Submissions will be judged according to the subject's potential as effective movie/TV material and how well the writer conveys that potential in a shoot-able script.

There are three categories:
• Features (~90 – 120 pp.) • Pilots (~25 – 60 pp.) • Short Scripts (~5 – 20 pp.)
