Bruce Caldwell is the leading Hayek expert of our time. He is Director Emeritus of the Center for the History of Political Economy at Duke University, and General Editor of The Collected Works of F.A. Hayek. He has held research fellowships at the London School of Economics, NYU, Cambridge, and the Hoover Institution, and is past president of both the History of Economics Society and the Southern Economic Association, as well as a Life Member of Clare Hall, Cambridge.
