Portraits of Leadership: 2010 Student Marshals

Body

Leading the graduating class’s march at Commencement each year are the student marshals, who are chosen for the role by their classmates. Marshals are recognized for their citizenship, enthusiasm, positive impact on others, and integrity of character.

College Photographer Joseph Mehling ’69 turned his lens on this year’s nine undergraduate and seven advanced degree marshals, who each chose a favorite campus location for the portrait. Office of Public Affairs interns Jocelyn Krauss ’10 and Grace Kouba ’13 asked the graduates to reflect on their Dartmouth experiences.
