The biggest threat to computer security is not technical, it’s human, according to a new survey of chief information officers hosted by the Tuck School of Business.

The Wall Street Journal’s blog Digits reported on the study, saying “80% of participating chief information security officers said they were more worried about human, rather than technological, holes in their IT infrastructure.”
Tuck Professor M. Eric Johnson explains that the technical aspects of cyber security are sophisticated and work well. People, on the other hand, are still vulnerable to phishing scams that get users to download malicious code and and share passwords.
