Portraits of Leadership: 2012 Student Marshals

Body

Each year, Student Marshals are carefully selected by fellow students for their citizenship, enthusiasm, positive impact on others, and integrity of character. The marshals carry batons engraved with their names as they lead their classmates to the Green during the Commencement academic procession.

College photographer Eli Burak ’00 turned his lens on this year’s undergraduate and advanced degree recipients, with help from additional photographers including Public Affairs Officer Bonnie Barber. Jessica Chen ’12, the Office of Public Affairs Whitney Campbell Intern, interviewed the graduates about their time at Dartmouth.
