Chronicle writer Steve Kolowich says there has been some skepticism at Bowdoin about the new course, which will be led by the Tuck School of Business’ Phillip Stocken, associate dean for the MBA program and a professor of accounting. However, Kolowich writes, in the “grand scheme of online education, Bowdoin’s collaboration with Dartmouth is relatively conservative. Many traditional institutions now offer fully online courses, and have done so for a long time.”
