Slideshow: Scenes From 2015 First-Year Trips

First-Year Trips take first-year Dartmouth students all over New Hampshire, including some trips to the Second College Grant in northern New Hampshire, where there are opportunities for hiking, swimming, learning photography, and more.

Trips are a student-run, five-day orientation for incoming first-year students. Run by the Dartmouth Outing Club since 1935, the trips—from climbing, yoga, nature photography, and organic farming to nature writing and art—offer incoming students the chance to form new friendships and get to know the rugged countryside of Northern New England.
