News subtitle

The museum reopened to the public on Aug. 4.

In the latest sign of campus returning to life, the Hood Museum of Art reopened its doors on Wednesday, welcoming the (mask-wearing) public back to the galleries for the first time since the pandemic began.

Visitors this week are enjoying exhibitions new and old, including, among others, Drawing Lines, which explores how lines define and generate space, and Form and Relation, which showcases the work of six Indigenous artists. Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
