Baker, 16 months old, relaxes with his 11-week-old pal, Berry, on the grass in Providence, R.I. Their owners, Sam Gutierrez ’11 and Mitt Coats ’11, named the Dobermans after Dartmouth Library’s Baker-Berry Library, which played a big role in their undergraduate life. It was a space where they studied together. A warm shortcut on cold days when they walked across campus to visit one another. And a place to make big plans; the couple got engaged on the Green in front of Baker-Berry. (Photo by Mitt Coats ’11)
