Dartmouth Climate Collaborative Panel & Student Workshop
Join us for a two-part event to learn about and provide feedback on Dartmouth’s response to climate change. Students of all backgrounds are highly encouraged to attend.
Join us to learn about and provide feedback on Dartmouth’s response to the climate crisis. The session will begin with a Q&A about the Dartmouth Climate Collaborative. We will then transition to a student workshop with the Climate Futures Initiative. The workshop aims to meaningfully engage student perspectives on how Dartmouth’s scholarship and teaching should contribute to climate knowledge and action. You will hear from Director of Sustainability Rosi Kerr, Senior Vice President of Capital Planning & Campus Operations Josh Keniston, and Special Advisor to the Provost on Climate and Sustainability Laura Ogden.
The Dartmouth Climate Collaborative, launched last Spring, will “connect, strengthen, and leverage Dartmouth’s existing work on climate and sustainability.” It includes $500 million in investments in climate and clean energy to reduce Dartmouth’s climate pollution. The Climate Futures Initiative is a one-year process which aims to “map out a vision for climate scholarship and engagement at Dartmouth.”
