In 2026, Dartmouth celebrates ten years of our House Communities. These six communities — Allen, East Wheelock, North Park, School, West, and South Houses — include all Dartmouth undergraduates over the past decade, as well as graduate students, faculty, and staff.
 

The celebrations will begin at the Hopkins Center for the Arts on February 26, the tenth anniversary of Founders Day at which students were first assigned to their Houses. An evening reception at the Top of the Hop will be followed by a “Club House” dance party with student DJs.
 

In spring term, the Houses will host an all-House activity to celebrate the end of the academic year and the completion of the House Cup, building on the success of the annual field day event organized by School House and the Interhouse Council. 

To commemorate the past decade of the Houses and connect them to Dartmouth’s long history, House common spaces will be decorated with photos, flyers, branded gear, and other memorabilia from both the Houses’ recent past as well as the earlier history of the associated residence halls.
