Celebration of Life for Kate Ginger '27
Please join us in remembering and celebration the life of Kate Ginger '27
Kate loved being outdoors and encouraged those around her to appreciate the beauty of nature in the Upper Valley. She had an “adventurous spirit,” often waking up early for Organic Farm work days and embracing every opportunity to be outside. She spent her Freshman Summer at the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge, organized hikes with the Dartmouth Outing Club, led First-Year Trips, and worked at the Dartmouth Outdoor Rentals Office.
Beyond her love for the outdoors, Kate found joy in the small, meaningful moments: making snow angels, spending time by the river, creating intricate charcuterie boards, and dancing in the kitchen with her sibling, Lee. She also brought that same spirit of care and empowerment to our community: helping lead the Sugarplum dance group, writing for Spare Rib, and serving on the Sexual Violence Prevention Project student advisory board.
We hope this gathering reflects the joy Kate found in nature and in life’s simplest, most beautiful moments, offering a space to be together, to remember, and to carry forward the warmth she shared with all of us. We invite you to join us in honoring Kate’s life and the light she brought to our community. Please bring a blanket or chair to sit on, and feel free to bring any memories, stories, or reflections you would like to share.
NOTE; A shuttle bus will be available to transport attendees to and from the Farm, beginning at 1:30 PM.
