Welcome to summer term 2026! F&MS is opening the summer with a Motion Capture Demo with Claire Preston, Program Manager of the DREAM Studio and Lecturer in Digital Arts. Claire will be in the TV Studio (VAC 106) from 2-3 pm to demo Optitrack motion capture system we recently installed to anyone who would like to learn how to use it. The workshop will cover the basics of set up, calibration, and recording. Claire has used the system in CSDA 24 (computer animation) for performance capture and biomechanics research.
